Thanks for stopping by. We are a little meat and wine shop in lakeway, TX. off 620 in Lohmans Crossing.
We now have cold cases filled with Angus cut weekly, jerky, smoked sausages and a whole lot more like some crisp wines and really tasty, local things made by our friends. New stuff seems to show up every week.
We are supplied by two ranches - both within 100 miles of the shop. We carry two breeds - angus and Texas raised Tajima Wagyu for the ultimate in flavor, tenderness, and carcass merits. Master butchers cut on ranch in mason and DELIVER to us weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The NY Strip Steak is a classic cut known for its rich flavor and firm texture. Sourced from the short loin, it offers a perfect balance of tenderness and marbling, making it ideal for grilling, broiling, or pan-searing.
We cut the NY Strip steaks so that each one weighs approximately 1 pound. They are dry aged for 28 days to enhance flavor and tenderness. The steaks will arrive vacuum sealed to ensure freshness and quality.
Boneless ribeye steaks are prized for their rich marbling, tender texture, and robust beef flavor. Cut from the rib section, these steaks offer a perfect balance of juiciness and tenderness, making them ideal for grilling, pan-searing, or broiling. Their versatility and depth of flavor make boneless ribeye a favorite choice for both casual meals and special occasions.
We cut the Boneless Ribeyes to each weigh approximately 1.25 pounds. These premium cuts are dry aged for 28 days to enhance flavor and tenderness. The steaks will arrive vacuum sealed to ensure freshness and quality upon delivery.

Need to stock the freezer? If so, custom ordering a cow is the most economical way to go. The beauty of ordering this way is that it allows you to customize all your cuts, thickness of cuts, which cuts to grind or not....basically, we cater to your needs.
Paying this deposit will lock in your hanging weight per pound price as of the date of the order. After you pay your deposit, a representative from Texas Beef Traders will reach out to begin the process.
Typical cuts that come with a Half Cow are Brisket, Chuck Roasts or Steaks, Arm Roasts or Steaks, Short Ribs, Ribeyes, T-bones or NY Strips and Filets, Sirloins, Flank and Skirt Steaks, Round Roasts or Steaks, Soup Bones, and Ground Beef. Our goal is to provide you with protein needs at the best possible pricing for our quality of cattle.
Deposit for whole cow = $1500
Hanging weight price of whole cow = $7.25#
Typical hanging weight of whole cow = 800 to 1000 pounds
Final payment will be calculated once we have your hanging weight and remainder will be based on that hanging weight minus the deposit. Delivery will be 4 to 6 weeks.
